Okay, so there they are... not perfect, but done. Of course, we all know that for some reason, I just cannot photograph layouts - still trying different cameras/places/techniques so it is what it is. I did use quite a bit of Echo Park today and I'm a little surprised to say that there is not a butterfly or bird on any of these layouts, I just don't know what happened! Also, I actually used so many stickers, etc. from the paper packs - I hardly ever do that!!
We've spoken of therapy before, but I will tell you a quick story: When I picked up GiGi last night from Cheer practice we stopped at McDonalds (of course). As we were pulling away she turns, looks me dead on, and says "Wow! You are in such a good mood! What have you been doing?" I told here I had been working on my layouts for the class. "Scrapbooking, I thought so. You need to make sure to do it more often." Now, that's a great idea!
So, Keep Calm and Scrap On! Still not too late to sign up for the Remix class at Pretty Papers.True Stories.!
Cheerio!

Scrapbooking as therapy. YEP!!! =D I tend to get all grouchy when I haven't done anything creative too. Love the layouts--I think they're awesome!! The mix of colors and patterns are really lovely. =D
ReplyDeleteHi I've popped over from the remix forum to take a peek at your LO's, they are all great I especially love the last one. I can't believe you got four LO's done in one day. I think the idea of the class is to do what you have done, we just go to our stash and pull out similar colours doesn't matter if their not from the same co. that's what I will be doing anyway. Great job can't wait to see what you'll be doing for the rest of the class.
ReplyDeleteI think you did an awesome job! Good for you getting so many layouts done already. You have inspired me! (visiting from the Shimelle's Remix class).
ReplyDeleteLove your layouts but I must say the last one is my favorite. I am just a colorful person and monochromatic layouts are hard for me. Remix is fab!
ReplyDeleteI am sure there is never a "wrong way" to do a Shimelle class! What you have done is inspiring me to make some time today to have a go too. Remix is already proving to be a great investment!
ReplyDeleteLove your pages, Shimelle's classes are definitely about making it suit your style and supplies! Apply whichever ideas work with your photos and papers!
